Sophie is a performer, songwriter, producer, and dynamic creative person with a passion for crafting engaging music for her listeners.

Taking inspiration from incredible Australian artists that she grew up with, Sophie writes music that is unapologetic and fierce. 2022 saw Sophie’s live show reach new heights as she toured with Jaguar Jonze and John Floreani, and was the local support for Odette and Alice Skye. This year after moving back to Australia after some time overseas, she was chosen by Triple J to be the Unearthed act to perform at iconic Australian festival Spilt Milk, a month after she opened up Stonefest, sharing the stage with Bakar and Ballpark Music.

Sophie’s single “A Vague Song Of Regret” premiered on Triple J, and her previous single “I Guess” was self-produced, and received editorial playlisting on both Spotify and Apple Music. Each of her self-produced releases in 2023 have received airplay from Triple J.

As a producer and a songwriter, Sophie has created hits for Australian and international artists including Jared Benjamin, Jade Alice, and Finn Burton. Sophie’s work championing non-male creatives in the music scene led her to be a nominee for Young Australian of the Year for 2024.

Notable production experiences include being an invited producer to the Allee Willis Songwriting Camp at “Just for the Record” in Los Angeles, producing for Kimbra at WMN in Boston, and being selected to participate in the “Johnny Mercer Songwriters Project” in Chicago, spearheaded by producer Stephen Bray and songwriter Autumn Rowe.
